Goodnight is a social app that works in a way similar to roulette web chats like Omegle or Chatroulette. However, in this case, the text and webcam chats have been replaced by audio calls of no more than seven minutes.
The way Goodnight works couldn't be simpler. Once you create your profile, enter your age and gender (limited here to just male/female), you can access the app's radar. After waiting for a little while (sometimes even up to 25 minutes), a chat will pop up with a completely random user from anywhere in the world who is online at that moment (and who speaks your language). In the settings, you can also choose your main language. Although this might hugely limit the number of available users you can chat with, it also means that communicating will be a lot better.
On the profile of the person you started chatting with, there will be a message of what they are looking for in these kinds of chance encounters of only seven minutes (for example, flirt with girls or talk about books). Additionally, you can break the ice a little by using an emoji that will establish the main conversation topic.
Goodnight is a social tool that, though it doesn't let you form a deep relationship with anyone, or have incredible conversations, does help you pass the time on a boring evening.
